Sifiso Nxasana, BComm (Wits), BComm Hons-Corporate Finance (Wits) [1984-2012]

  • Sifiso worked in the Corporate Finance department at PwC for four years. He joined the company as part of the Valuation and Strategy team in 2007 and worked with clients such as Boart Longyear South Africa, Alstom, Thales South Africa, the South African Forestry Company and Shanduka Group.
  • He was a member of the mergers and acquisitions team advising Calulo Investments, Madison Filtaflo (R7m), Boart Longyear (R62m), General Electric South Africa on its rail division’s BEE deal (R14m), as well as Grindrod South Africa on its recent BEE deal (R274m).
  • He obtained a B.Com Honours (Finance) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. Prior to joining PWC, he assisted in the mother’s business with bookkeeping. He left Pwc at the end of 2011 and started Nonduna Investments as the first CEO.
  • He passed away in February 2012.

Nkanyezi Nxasana, BBus Sc(Finance, Accounting) (UCT)

  • Nkanyezi graduated in 2010 from UCT. She had academic colours in matric at Rodean School and was on the Dean’s list in her third year Business Science. She wrote for the first time and passed part 1 SAICA board exam in 2011 and passed part II in 2013. She is currently serving articles at Ernst & Young, Johannesburg. She is involved in the family’s corporate social investment initiatives.


Nonduna was founded by the late Sifiso Nxasana with the intention to create a leading black family owned and managed investment company with expertise in the development, financing and management of profitable investments in new and existing enterprises in South Africa and SADC countries.

The company’s first investment was in Ndalo Luxury Ventures, a company that owns and runs Luminance which is in the high end fashion retail space.
